20KB sits at the very bottom of the range that upload forms accept. It is almost always asked for on the signature box, the thumb impression box, or a small identity crop rather than the main photograph. Because the box is small, applicants usually crop tightly on a white sheet, and a tight crop of mostly white paper compresses down to 6 or 8KB — well under the floor the portal wants.
